御前埼灯台

御前崎市のシンボルであり、市民の誇りでもある白亜の洋式灯台。1874年にイギリス人技師の監督のもとに誕生し、今も美しい姿を保ちながら海の安全を見守り続けています。日本の登れる灯台16基の一つでもあります。

The chalk-white Western-style lighthouse is the symbol of Omaezaki City and a source of pride for its citizens. It was constructed in 1874 under the supervision of a British engineer, and continues to maintain its beautiful appearance while ensuring the safety of the seas. It is also one of only 16 lighthouses in Japan that can be climbed.
